Membership in the Treasure
Coast German Shepherd Dog Club is open to all people with an interest in the many attributes of the German Shepherd Dog; who
are in good standing with the American Kennel Club; and who subscribe to the purposes of the club. There is no requirement to own a dog.
While membership
is unrestricted as to residence, the club's primary focus is to be representative of the members within the Florida regional
areas of Palm Beach County, Martin County and St. Lucie County.
The A, B, C's...and D, E, F's of becoming a Member:
A. Request an Application Form
The application is available from the club Secretary or President.
B. Select Your Membership Category
Family - household & those residing under age 18; Dues $25.
Single - any individual
18 years and up; Dues $15.
Junior
- children under 18 years, whose parents or guardian are
not members and have provided written permission.
Junior members may not vote or hold an office; Dues $5.
C. Obtain Signatures of Two Member Sponsors
Applicants must attend a meeting or club event to meet current
members and obtain the necessary signatures on the form.
D. Submit Completed Application and Dues
Check.
The completed application, with the signatures of two club sponsors,
and
check for the membership fee, should be submitted at a meeting
or mailed to the club address.
E. Application is Read.
Applications are filed with
the Secretary and read at the first meeting
following
receipt.
F.
Membership Vote.
At the next club meeting following the first reading, applicants will be
voted upon, with affirmative votes of 2/3 of the members present to
confirm the election into membership.

The annual dues are billed in November and payable on or before the first
day of January for the ensuing year. Applications for membership are submitted with a dues check for the current year. Dues for applications approved in October, November or December will be applied to the upcoming year.
