The Right Family, the Right Dog -- A GERMAN SHEPHERD DOG

The best thing you can do for your German Shepherd Dog, yourself, your family and friends is to learn about the breed-- physical characteristics, the temperament & behaviors, the proper training methods and the realistic expectations of this amazing breed.  Be informed--attend a dog show, talk with exhibitors, breeders & trainers and join a GSD breed club, like our Treasure Coast GSDC.

Be sure to investigate the wealth of information available on the German Shepherd Dog Club of America web site at
www.gsdca.orgLearn about the GSD Breed Standard; what to look for in a responsible breeder; helpful hints and cautions.  The American Kennel Club web site, located at www.akc.org, is also a valuable resource.
